"As a person in long-term recovery who could not stay sober at home, I was blessed with the opportunity to live in a recovery house for 12 months and it saved my life. Without that opportunity, I would not have been able to rebuild my family relationships and get back on my feet. I stayed very connected to the recovery house that I lived in and over the years was struck by the lack of recovery housing in the Warren-Niles area to meet the growing demand for sober living houses. It gives me great joy to be able to give back to my community by providing the type of residential recovery support that was essential for me."

Our recovery model is based on the 12 steps; Foster Living residents are encouraged to attend 12 step meetings, follow up with treatment requirements, have a sponsor, and be actively working the 12 steps.
We empower Foster Living residents to actively seek employment and also volunteer. We strive to help our residents develop beliefs, values and attitudes that are consistent with the recovery themes of unity, service, acceptance, humility and gratitude.
